Tea Wallets!

My real-life friend, Megan, has been whipping out lots of these adorable tea wallets! I was excited to order a few for gifts - I'm thinking nursery workers. Would it be terrible to admit that I'd be perfectly ok with one of them not being there the day I give these so I could keep one!?

Anyway, I'm pleased to support her craftiness and thought some of you might be interested too! I think they are very reasonably priced at $7 each including tea and shipping!

If you think they are as cute as I did - hop on over to her blog and let her know you'd like to place an order!!

What do you give to nursery workers, Sunday School teachers and the like this time of year?

Last year after Christmas, one of the grocery stores in my town, had Christmas bowls for a quarter each. I bought several and will give those as a present this year.

Those are SO CUTE! I know a few tea lovers that would really like those! :-) You know, to be honest, I haven't given gifts to workers in my church! That is a great idea! We have such a huge family and we do stuff for neighbors, its always a stretch finacially...hmm...I bet I can whip something up though! I have a neat applesauce ornament recipe and maybe some baked goods! GREAT IDEA, MONICA! Those people are so valuable to my family!

These are cute & a great idea. The years b4 I usually shopped around for something cute whatever good deal i found. This year my oldest is 4 so he will be making jingle bell braclets for his 2 female teachers & not sure for his male yet w/a thank you for being my teacher card. As for nursery workers I'm not sure what I'll do .. maybe bake someththing b/c we have about 10 that watch my baby. This is our first Christmas at our new church which is much bigger than before. But we absolutely love it. :)

Those are so cute.
I am big on baking and giving baked goods to teachers. I usually try to come up with some cute packaging for the items, too.

I think for nursery workers, a little pouch with sanitizing lotion, tissues, mints and a bottle of water. Of course having it all cutsied up with a tissue pouch, little bag for the mints and a water bottle cozy would make it super cute and reusable. Of course a few verses about working as unto the Lord, and a pic of your little one that is in that class, would be just perfection!

I give Yankee Candle votives. I give them to nursery workers, Sunday school teachers, etc. They are usually $1.19 each at our local pharmacy. I attach a thriftily (is that a word?) handcrafted card that says, "You light up our life. Thanks for... (whatever they do)." I wrap them in sparkly tulle and tie with a ribbon. ALWAYS a huge hit.

Thank you for sharing this Monica!!! I have seen these before and just have never picked one up. This will be a great craft for my mom and I to work on together for the holidays. We adore things like this!!!!

Back in the days when we were giving gifts to your Sunday School teachers, I often wrapped up a box of fun tea (such as Celestial Seasonings Christmas tea) -- but these are cuter and more creative!
Love you, Mom

I sell Mary Kay and will often give hand lotion to teachers, nursery workers, etc. Paired with "magic" gloves (the stretchy ones) it makes a simple, useful gift.
