Street Breakfast

Another fun thing we did was attend the 50th Annual Street Breakfast! I'd done this a couple of times, but it had been years! They block off streets downtown, haul in the bales of hay and cook up lots of pancakes! This is also the beginning of the Range Ride - so lots of horses and cowboys can be seen as well! We had a great time!!

These photos are precious! Hard to believe that people need to wear long sleeves this time of year.

That's so neat that they still do that. When we lived in Parker,CO. We had Parker Days and they did the same thing. I miss smaller towns...

When I lived in Monterey, CA they didn't do street breakfast, BUT every Thursday they'd shut down a few city blocks and have an outdoor craft fair...lots of super cool crafts, food...the ocean within view..It was great to just be able to walk around and have a good time!!
Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :) :) :)

Anything involving the outdoors and sitting on bales of hay has to be good! My son had the same cowboy hat one year when we went to a rodeo.

Hi, Monica,
What a fun family time!
Did anyone ever tell you that you look like your mom? That's a compliment to both of you. Your inner beauty shines right thru.

You have a beautiful family. I don't even know you, but I enjoy seeing the fun you have with your children, your parents (who obviously are dear friends and supporters) and your husband. I think it's an encouraging reminder that women can find joy staying at home nurturing their family.
