Peaceful Moments

One busy evening - David takes all the littles to a Football game and even though I have tons to do, I find myself drawn outside to the just-after-the-rain beauty! It just compels me to capture the beauty, sit on the porch and slow down and enjoy a little treat from the freezer.

A peaceful evening doesn't have to be two or three hours -
twenty minutes can restore in an amazing way!

So true! Sometimes just stepping onto the back porch for a few minutes is all I need to feel refreshed. Glad you took the time to enjoy a few peaceful minutes!

Monica, such beauty. Thanks for sharing. I'm coming around on finding beauty and creating beauty in my home. I'm especially coming around on the investment of it. Investment of buying flowers and plants, time and energy it requires. I'm loving it. Thanks for helping and inspiring me in this!

Great photos Monica - you must have a great camera because my little shur shot would not capture things so close up.

Twenty minutes of silence in the midst of God's beauty is always refreshing. I walked through that moment with you - your photos really captured your thoughts. But I couldn't taste the freezer treat...boo!
